I got this from  http://ChristianChat.com, Tommy4Christ shared the following, and I thought wow! quite interesting, so here goes, Some good meat here.

It all boils down to repentance, and what it produces, get this wrong, that willful rebellion against God leads to death.

Repentance Comes BEFORE Forgiveness of Sin.

As we can see, throughout the Bible conduct (DEEDS) do matter and we will be judged based upon our conduct. Repentance does not come AFTER someone has been supposedly saved. Scripture shows that godly sorrow produces the repentance LEADING to salvation (2 Cor. 7:10). For some people this might be over a period of time and for others it is instantaneous. Whatever the case may be, repentance must come first BEFORE the Holy Spirit is given.

God clearly says that he is not willing that any should perish, but all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Jesus said, “And if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” Christ was lifted up from the earth on the cross. He draws all men, but that doesn’t mean all men will accept the offer of salvation.

I don’t like to use “big” words, but we must mention the word “Synergy.” Synergy is defined as two or more things functioning together to produce a result not independently obtainable. This can be seen in the matter of repentance. Though God draws all men, it doesn’t mean God is going to repent for us. We must do that. When we do our part, God will do His. This is working together.

“We then, as workers together with him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.” (2 Cor. 6:1)

We are workers together with him, not alone, both parties are involved.

It also mentions “the grace of God.” This is not just unmerited favor. The definition of grace is: "Good will, loving-kindness, favor of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues."

This grace is extended to everyone, but there are those who do not want to be obedient to this grace that God has extended to all mankind.

Grace teaches. It instructs us:

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,”

To receive remission (forgiveness) of sins, we must do something.

For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. For observe this very thing that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

If we were to ask a person, “Must a child molester stop molesting children before he can be saved?” Or “Does a thief have to stop stealing before he can be saved, or a fornicator have to stop fornicating or a drunkard stop drinking before he can saved? The answers will vary, but the bottom line is that they will tell us one does not have to stop doing these things before they can be saved.

Wesley said the following:

"We believe that man’s creation in Godlikeness included ability to choose between right and wrong, and that thus he was made morally responsible; that through the fall of Adam he became depraved so that he *cannot now turn and prepare himself by his own natural strength* and works to faith and calling upon God. But we also believe that the grace of God through Jesus Christ is freely bestowed upon all men, enabling all who will to turn from sin to righteousness, believe on Jesus Christ for pardon and cleansing from sin, and follow good works pleasing and acceptable in His sight. We believe that man, though in the possession of the experience of regeneration and entire sanctification, may fall from grace and apostatize and, unless he repents of his sin, be hopelessly and eternally lost."

As we can see, he has the gospel in REVERSE. The Bible is clear that the sin must stop (in repentance) BEFORE pardon can be granted.

Note the following:

“Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.” Isa. 55:7

“Now therefore, amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; then the LORD will relent concerning the doom that He has pronounced against you.” Jer. 26:13

The message of the Bible assumes that man is fully capable of obeying God and doing what God has said to do, namely repent, STOP what you’re doing, and SEEK His mercy. This message is clear through the whole Bible.

People will say they can't stop sinning without Jesus or without the Holy Spirit. How do they explain the people of Nineveh?

“So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. Then word came to the king of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne and laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published throughout Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything; do not let them eat, or drink water. But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, let everyone turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish? Then God saw their works that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.” Jonah 3:5-10

Here is the preaching of repentance and the manner in which the mercy of God is dispensed on the people. They did not need some special grace (some call it Prevenient grace), Jesus, or the Holy Spirit to overpower them so they could repent. The prophet told them the consequences of their actions if they continued in sin, but gave them the way of escape through repentance.

Also note that they did not assume they would be forgiven...they sought the mercy of God.

"Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?"

It’s interesting that a drug addict can stop his dependence on drugs without Christ, a drunkard can stop drinking himself drunk without Christ, a thief can stop stealing without Christ, a person addicted to pornography can stop it without Christ, etc., but yet people who profess to be Christians have to sit back and wait for God to “clean up their life,” as though they have no free will to make the right choices.

A person who is in bondage to indulgence is not a person incapable of choice, but rather a person who has made a series of choices resulting in surrender of his will to his lusts.

As with the drug addict, the drunkard, the thief, the liar, the person addicted to pornography, etc., who say they can’t resist these temptations, often find new strength to do what they previously said they could not. For instance, tell the man addicted to pornography that if someone were to hold a gun to his head and threaten to shoot him if he were to look at the pornographic magazine, he will not look. This could be said of any sins. If the drunkard were told by his doctor that he only has six months to live if he keeps drinking, the drunkard suddenly has been empowered to overcome his bodily addiction.

What the unsaved person teaches us is that when they make a successful choice not to yield to their temptation, he has not only confirmed that one can cease from his wrong choices, but also the power of free will. However, people who profess to be Christians excuse their sins by saying they have not yet been delivered from their “sinful nature.” They are constantly fighting this “mysterious other self,” waiting for God to deliver them, but of course this struggle continues all through life and it won’t end until they die!

Having said all this, the first thing people will cry is, “You are saying you can save yourself! The Bible says salvation is not of works! If we can stop sinning, we don’t need Jesus!” But yet these same people claim they can’t STOP sinning when they HAVE Jesus. As my friend Tommy has noted when it comes to working together with God:

Working together with God isn’t being prideful, or trying to earn His mercy by bragging “Look what I did,” but it’s more of being a doer of His word, obeying it from the heart, and also realizing that any willful rebellion and disobedience to His word leads to spiritual death and separation from God and His saving grace and power!

We live in a day where good is called evil and evil is good. We are told that those who live righteous are self-righteous while those who are unrighteous, sinning everyday in thought, word, and deed are in the true faith! In other words, if you don't sin, you are a hypocrite, but if you do sin, you are good with God and are in the faith. What utter foolishness to believe obeying God is impossible and morally wrong!

I have given proof that “conduct” matters, but not in the sense that we can save ourselves. What we need is a cleansing of sins, and this we CANNOT do. As a friend once said, we need the atoning work of Jesus Christ because it is clear we haven't obeyed God, NOT because we couldn't obey God. In fact, it is because we have the ability to obey God that we are liable to punishment for our disobedience. And it is because we deserve punishment that we need His atonement. But if we couldn't obey, we couldn't be punished, and therefore wouldn't need Jesus. While we are capable of obedience, our obedience is not capable of atoning for our sins. Therefore our ability to obey does not nullify the necessity for the atonement of Christ.

It is true that the influence of the Holy Spirit draws us to Christ and conviction of sin, and what JOY to be FORGIVEN of those sins, but it only comes when we turn (repent) from our evil ways. We have to do the cleaning (forsake sin) and God will do the pardoning. God is not going clean up anyone. Some people may give up certain sins for selfish reasons, but their hearts were never turned to Christ in faith and repentance.

There is no pardon of sins without repentance. Repentance is an attribute of authentic faith.

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit is at work to convict people, to lead them to “godly sorrow.” It is a sorrow that is according to the will of God that produces repentance without regret, leading to salvation. (2 Cor. 7:10) If a person has the “sorrow of the world,” that means he has simply been “caught” and not sorry at all. He is void of godly sorrow that produce change in character. Peter, who denied Jesus, fell away from the Lord. Jesus said, “But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. And when you are converted, strengthen your brothers.”Peter had godly sorrow. Peter wasn’t sorry he got caught, but he had a godly sorrow that brought about repentance and God was able to mightily use him.

All of the above has to do with our conduct. If works do not matter, as some proclaim, they have been totally blinded to the truth by the lies of others. Don’t let this happen to you, because it is YOUR soul at stake.

Holy Conduct

The idea of holiness is hated more than any other Biblical doctrine, especially in the church of today.

Holiness is not a dirty word. It is the opposite of depravity in act, the opposite of sin.

Holiness is an inward and outward conformity to God’s will. Holy means to be set apart. We will not be holy until we first look to God and then imitate Him (Lev. 11:44; Eph. 5:1-2). Christ is our example of what it looks like to be holy. Colossians chapter 3 gives us a practical outline of what holiness looks like.

Some people measure holiness as a list of dos and don’ts. Some people will call sin what is not sin. A person who eats with his left hand might be considered a sin. If a woman doesn’t wear a dress it’s considered a sin. Nonsense! Get rid of the lists.

A person who loves God doesn’t worry about a list of rules because he has faith which worketh by love. (Gal. 5:6) It is the type of person he now is - the old creature whose life was full of sin is now a new creature who lives a life of love, hope and faith. In every aspect of our lives we have the kingdom of God shining and within us. (Luke 17:21)

Conduct does matter.

Stop offering the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness. Instead, offer yourselves to God as people who have been brought from death to life and the parts of your body as instruments of righteousness to God. Rom. 6:13

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will, Rom. 12:1-2

Thank you Tommy4Christ for sharing this wonderful explanation of the full Gospel of being in Christ

One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man.

Elbert Hubbard

That extra ordinary man is:

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

Did or have you witness the extra ordinariness of this one man? Many a people did and the witnessing still goes on above any and all testimonies that I have ever known or seen. We have a lot of heroes in this world today. We learn about them in growing up in school. But in School we are not taught about the history of this one extra ordinary man, Jesus Christ that walked this earth and did many miracles. No this world has segregated that off to religion, and even has taken out prayer in the public school, but this country was founded on the freedom to pray to God. But still this one extra ordinary man Jesus Christ is known throughout the world. Now whether or not one believes in him or not is the free choice that the creator of this universe has stood by not taking this away from anyone, yet man has and does from one another therefore to me this alone from God is LOVE, so I choose to believe in this extra ordinary man that went to great lengths to show the whole world that he came out of the mouth of God known as his Father, who claimed and showed his love all the way to death and then after the third day back to life, through the operation of God the Father of Christ. Then giving to you and me his Spirit the Spirit of his Father God the one that created everything after he ascended on high read it John 16,

16 “All this I have told you so that you will not fall away. 2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. 4 I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them. I did not tell you this from the beginning because I was with you, 5 but now I am going to him who sent me. None of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ 6 Rather, you are filled with grief because I have said these things. 7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

Thank you and come to belief in this extra ordinary man Jesus Christ

John 4:23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him.

This quote is before the crucifixion of Christ where God the Father of Christ was and is satisfied as an all-time sacrifice, taking away the sins of the whole world, not imputing them on anyone.

This is the Hour we all are in the age of grace. There is no flesh acts included in this verse; Flesh has been dealt with at the cross, today the true worshippers worship in Spirit and truth. So die to your own selfishness and seek out who God is, Eschew evil by reckoning thyself to dead to self

Romans 6:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus

Romans 8  New International Version (NIV)

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

What will I now live to, the flesh that I was originally born with or to the Spirit of god in the Spirit of God? What is the righteous requirement of the Law? I think it is Love and Love is?

1Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love goes on forever, all else will pass away so let’s go on to perfection if God will permit.

6 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.

Hebrews 6:1-3

6 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.

4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance.

Do you see once one has repented, it is done, but repentance is changing one’s mind from unbelief to belief, not trying to quit sinning, nor ignoring your sins?

You see once one dies in their own flesh with Christ back at the cross, then one by the operation of God comes back to a new life in the Spirit of God the Father.

Worshipping in Spirit and truth, so be led everyday by the Holy Ghost of truth in God. Wake up every morning and say today I die myself that and I am alive to God in the Spirit of God through the finished work of Christ Jesus. So wake instead of waking with FOLGERS in your, wake up with GOD in your cup

Homwardbound I am

18. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD.

- Leviticus 19:18

Do you see this that the Lord is the same today, yesterday, and forever, even though there is an Old Covenant and a new one?

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

You see, Christ, Father and Holy Ghost are all one, nothing has changed it has been this way since the beginning, let’s see:

Genesis 3:21-22

21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. 22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

So Mercy from God has been from day one, not all saw this, but a few that had the faith (trust) in knowing God created us all, and showed God that they wanted to serve God since God is the potter and all we are is the clay, so I say do with me what God will, I only want to be the clay in the potters hand, how about you?

Jesus even confirmed to the religious leaders of his day about Mercy over sacrifice.

Matthew 9:13

But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners”

You see the ones that are righteous are the ones that already have learned what mercy over sacrifice means. They already have been transformed. They have already changed their minds from unbelief to belief, and gave their trust to God and God only. But know that they did notreceive the promises until afterthedeath, burial, resurrection of Christ Jesus. See the great cloud of witnesses from the Old Testament

But none of these had received the promises as he now have they were looking forward to the coming Messiah, were we are looking back read all of Hebrews 11 this explains this.

This is the last verse in Hebrews 11, now please read all of Hebrews 11and see how we all are blessed beyond measure for those that believe.

39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect

Homwardbound freeing you from the law that was put in place for the express purpose of showing us our need for God, that in and of ourselves we can do nothing, we can try but it is all futile unless you believe in God to take you by the hand and lead you all across this land, JESUS, he’s my friend, JESUS, and yours too just put your trust in him, instead of self or another man. Sift all things through your heart and the Holy Ghost that teaches you all truth with separate truth from error in you as you decide to listen, and you will be free indeed

God just love you brother and sister!

Matthew 21:37 New International Version (NIV)

37 Last of all, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said.

Wow, God has sent prophets, oracles, people God chose to lead, they trusted God but the people just did not listen, listen to what God has to say through them, so in these last days he chose his Son to be above all powers and principalities. This in in Colossians if you want to see this

Matthew 21:38

“But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’

So therefore:

Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Now God through man’s ignorance, and the devils’ as well went to the cross willingly, when I tell you the truth if he had not gone willingly the cross would have never happened. Look at all the miracles he did and look at all the people that reviled him when he was on the cross, cursing at him saying things like well just come down off the cross and we will then believe you, you healed all those people and you can’t even take yourself off the cross.

Well I tell you the truth as we not all have found out but a lot of us have, is that it was necessary for him to go through this terrible tragedy in order to bring in a new covenant (will) mind you read it the new will (covenant that takes place) because without the death there is no new will or covenant.

Hebrews 9:15-17 New International Version (NIV)

15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritancenow that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

16 In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, 17 because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.

Do you see this, the Old covenant The Law Moses was still in effect during the ministry of Jesus, everything he did was under the Law of Moses that was given to Moses by God, Jesus’s Father? A will is never in effect until the testator that has the will dies, and proof of that death, needs proven and no one can receive it until this is done. So therefore Christ was dead for three days, which constituted that he died in order to bring in a new covenant. What is this new covenant?

To begin with the sins of the whole world are behind his back never to see again The Father’s that is: See below

Hebrews 10:17 New International Version (NIV)

17 Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

Is this good news or what, have you been trying to stop sin have you been trying be a new person in Christ, God, in front of your family and friends? How well are you doing? How about behind closed doors?

I know how well I did; not well at all, and the harder I tried the worse I got, my problem was the “I”. I was trying so hard to get God to be pleased by what I was doing that I could not see the forest through the trees. I was working in the energy of my own flesh all stressed out hearing that I was already forgiven back at the cross of Christ, and got so busy at trying to stop any and all sin that I ever had done and from this I even added a few, how about you do you agree is this going on with you too?

Then one day I heard this on a radio program, there was this guy as well as me, along with all the others that were listening had been hearing from people to people ministries, that there is no further forgiveness to be executed on God’s part, that it was done and finished at the cross of Jesus Christ.

So this guy calls in who was a pastor and had been kicked out of his pastor ship, because he and his wife divorced. He proceeds to ask a question about this forgiven issue, he asks Bob George, saying he had been listening to the program for the last several months and was wondering what to do with his sin, since according to people to people all sins are past tense forgiven, and that he has not stop sinning and mentioned that he was a pastor and is no more after getting a divorce from his wife.

So the ? was and is what do I do with my sin?

I will never forget the answer to this ? I was a smoker way back then 14 or 15 years ago now, but that does not matter.

I heard the answer of God through this man Bob George.

The first thing Bod said was you see ___________ put your name in the blank.

My response to this was no way and I backed up from the radio about thirty feet as I was puffing on a cigarette, saying this is garbage and was about to go and turn of the radio, as I was approaching the radio that I was about to turn off the next words I heard was

Because you can’t, you or anyone else never could, not in the energy of their own strength, it is impossible.

If you are focused on loving your wife will you have time to commit adultery? If you are busy working will you have time to steal? So in essence if you are busy thanking God for taking all sin away in his eyes not imputing any trespass against you will you have any time for the old life, no, you will be forever present in this new one thanking God for the new life after you went to the cross and received this forgiveness dying with Christ and being raised back to life with Christ by the same operation of God the Father that raised Christ from the dead on the third day.

What an ahah! Moment I had and my life has been changed ever since. For the first time I started to see things from God’s vantage point, and wow what a change he has implanted in me. So I shall say as King David did entering his courts with thanksgiving and praise, blessed is the man that God does not impute their trespasses against them.

Since then he has peeled me like an onion, and we all know when peeling an onion it causes one to cry, but when one finally gets to the center the onion is as sweet as could be.

So take what is said here to heart and seek God to show the truth, and if you do not feel called ask to be, plead to God to be and be set free

Again thanking you all for listening, So God has done it all to reach out to you and me, there is no more to be done on God’s behalf, so believe and receive Love you all

Galatians 3:3 are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Has our own flesh tricked us? Do we think our self-special? Are we better than anyone else? Or truly is everyone the same? There is no respect of persons from God’s vantage point. Romans 2:11 read all of this from 2:1 onward to get the context of the meaning here how respect is used here. From KJV

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

From new living translation

Romans 1:11

11 For God does not show favoritism.

Possibly a better translation to understand what is being talked about here, do I, you or anyone seek favoritism from anyone else?

Do any one of us seek to be noticed? Has not his been going on for years? Let’s see what scripture says, so we can get a clear view at our self and what our flesh desires over what the Spirit of God desires for us to know, so each and every one of us can be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.

Matthew 23:1-4 New International Version (NIV)

23 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2 “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4 They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

These leaders of that day, told truth, yet did not do truth, they were only out for self and gained from the people their belongings, by putting heavy loads on their shoulders, yes it is true to do what is right, and do not do wrong, so when this is put on you that you must obey, you receive a heavy burden (load) that you cannot bear and thus you end up doing what you do not want to do. Read the rest of that chapter and get a drift of the deception that was going on then and still goes on today, teaching us to strive in our own flesh, never really coming to the born again life because one’s flesh is so well taught to be in the way of God almighty, that it is a trait in us by the time we are 18. And so it has become very hard to renew one’s mind thinking from God the Father’s vantage point instead of the worlds.

Let’s see: Romans 7 New International Version (NIV)

7:1Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the lawthat the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives?

How many of us know the law, have we all not been raised under law?

Therefore as long as we are alive in the flesh the law has authority over all of us unless we die to our own self’s the flesh that we were born and raised with is this correct? See verse 2

7:2  For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.

Is this a good example, now if I die and am free, does that mean I can just go and do whatever I desire without consideration for any other?

God forbid man, no what this means is you are free to love your neighbor as self, this means that you by the grace of God before action you will stop and think about what you are about to do or say before doing it or saying it, asking God to take the reins and lead, and guess what you will automatically love your neighbor as you have discovered you are loved by God himself through Christ Jesus his Son who took away the curse of the Law that so easily besets each and every person.

Let us move on and see:

4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. 6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

Are you see this transformation coming in you as you ask for God to do this for you and therefore also God also will live through you?

Read the rest of the chapter to keep in context, but see this please that none of us can mix flesh and blood with GRACE. Flesh and blood is only water mostly, and GRACE is oil.

Water and oil does not mix, you can stir it up in a glass but after it has settled down they separate. So you can go out like the priests of Jesus’s day and tell truth, but not do it, sit in the highest seats in the synagogues, appear all high and mighty, but remember God himself has no respect of person from God’s vantage point. So you can gain the world with respect of others cheering you on, but please be careful as to not lose out on salvation by not truly caring, and this true care only comes from God the creator of all that is good.

So let us ask God the truth about being born of God’s Spirit and God will show you, me and you and them this truth. Thank you all for listening about being of God instead of this world born again in God’s kingdom
