Within each person lies the power of consent. We make good choices and bad choices. We all are always left with the results, no matter what.

Therefore, choices again are made after the choices that were made, in response whether good or bad.

Is this an ongoing pattern for us all?

No matter what has happened in life it has happened, has it not? Do we really accept what is, good or bad? Or do we just buck up and move on? Forget about what is behind us, do our best to learn around us as best we can. Keep busy in activities that keep us from thinking about past events that grind away at us and our emotions bring in anger, frustration, meanness, stress, strife.

So we find things to keep us busy, do we not, because we do not want to face the bad things that have happened to us in this life, is this true; honestly true?

I look back and see it as so at least for me. So I now ask me, am I over it or do the bad things carry on in me, not being aware of it, somehow, somewhere possibly controlling me and my future actions to one extent or another?

Do we go by feelings, here in this world? Did we as children go by feelings as children, before any of us came to Puberty? Or better put, we might have gone by feelings as a child, without being aware of feelings, we just did things as a child that were fun?

As we all grow up, we all learn many different things in life that turn out good or bad, or so it seems at the time, right?

When one comes into puberty, things do change do they not? Many get punished for this new desire that hits them; others don’t, each at different ages at least for me, and for you? It hit me at age 9, things changed, the outlook, a new discovery, what is this that is happening?

So we move forward each of us and one day, it happens, we have sex, and either it is a great feeling or it is not. Now I am aware of those that have had bad experiences with sex growing up being molested from a child on. And I know there is a terrible bad taste left in their mouth and rightfully so. Saying I am sorry to those of you, does not help nor will ever change what is, or has been in the past. To whatever it is worth though you do have my prayers for you personally to come to be able to accept that nothing can ever be done to change what has been, and is the beginning of any healing to ever take place.

First off this is a fact right, can any of us go back and change what has happened to us in life good or bad? I know many of us want to, and even think it would be different and better, you could be right, or you could be wrong. There is an old movie called “It’s a wonderful life” I think personally worth watching. It shows the good things and the bad things that do happen here in this life. And how if we were never here, that the bad that was, never would have been, if we had never been here.

I encourage you to get and watch that movie, enlightening at least to me

Even though we have had terrible things happen to us, is there anything good ever? Just one thing we liked and enjoyed? I was taught as I go in this world to focus only on the good things, shut the gate on the bad, and move towards the future, It worked, yet it covered up truth of bad things and never made me wise as a serpent to the evil that is all around us and in ones homes as well, talk about being naive. If I had been taught, I know I could have avoided much evil that has come my way, as well as not done the evil I myself have done. Oh yes sir, Mam indeed so, and you to maybe?

I am just venting, which I found to be helpful, used to not do it, vent that is, in fear of someone getting on the intercom, and announcing my problems to the world around us.

What did control me and could do it again was

What others thought about me, so I would try to keep others thinking good thoughts about me by the way I acted as if I were confident.

When others ever put me down, it would not make me feel good, so I would have to find others to get those popular people to focus on others to keep them from focusing on me, does that make sense, anyone else do this?

We all want to be accepted yes? And in many situations we are not are we? Unfortunately that is another fact and we thus go out in this world trying to find acceptance and when we think we have found acceptance, then that is the group of people we get attached to is it not? Until one day there is conflict(s) in how we don’t agree and many times can’t agree to disagree, and we thus leave that group and go find another, do we not, or at least this has been me.

Then there are those of us that just stay, and never speak out to our disagreements, we become like a turtle and hide in our shells, and just go with the crowd, wanting to stay accepted do we not? For we have asked questions and were shunned, and ignored, not heard as to what we say, in caring for our thoughts about life.

And the response is: either we climb into our shell, and implode, until one day we might explode as we have all seen here happen in this world, with one or a few persons going off and killing others, for no real reason at all. That persons or persons have gone off the deep end in not ever being heard listened to by anyone that cares.

How many of us have climbed into our shell and just hid?

Can you, I or anyone tell our spouses exactly how we feel? Without the fear of their rebuttal, as in how could you think that, or do that.

Would it not be most wonderful if we could just say to the other what we are thinking at the time we are thinking it without fear of any rebuttal?

If we all could just vent out our bad thoughts as we have them without fear of what others think about us, do you think we might have less evil of harm done to each other? I am saying, if I could say to you I do not like you, and you accepted that or vice versa I accepted you not liking me, do you think we knowing what we think we might become true friends, with no lies between us?

How many lies are there between us in relationships? How many of us fight over finding out things about one another? Are we trying to have things go exactly the way we think things should go and if they did go as we think, there would be no problems, a sort of “UTOPIA” right?

Well that has never worked out for me, how about you, maybe if you were alone, then there would be no one else, and then loneliness and being unwanted might creep its way in yes? And might pick up drinking as a possible escape from stinking thinking over bad events that have occurred or are occurring in your life in the present, and there are many other ways to escape from stinking thinking to cover over the emotional scars and sores. Drugs, prescribed or not, parties, cutting up with joking around at the expense of others, all out of trying to live and not seeing our selfishness, in not caring for others.

Oh what a straight betwixt we all live in here on earth wow, do we not?

There has got to be a better place to live than here, do we agree?

There is an invitation to the after-life and there has to be an after-life is there not?

If there is not an after-life and we just die, and that is it, then this life is a waste is it not?

If there is no resurrection, then there is no God that has claimed to love us all, while we all are here fighting and warring against one another, God is calling out, shouting hey, I (God) love you, yes you. I (God) am not concerned over what you have done or might do. I (God) am concerned for you and your well-being, Can we talk?

Man here on earth loves you, as long as you are abiding as he sees fit. If you go against one’s religion, that one’s way of thinking, you will not be accepted with them will you? And then you go and search for another place to be accepted by don’t you or haven’t you?

I (God) plain and simply just love you period, so much that I (God) sent you my Son (Jesus Christ) to die in your stead for you, and you personally I (God) did this. So I (God) the Father of Jesus could give you a new life in the Spirit of your mind, you having renewed your mind set to thinking as God thinks. Whether or not you decide to believe God that God just love you or not is entirely up to you. This is the Gold that God gives you, it is a new place to live in Spirit and truth, in the reality of your new mind set, that this world can’t see, your new place of life forever, in the Spirit of your new mind set, carnal mind old self dead. This world’s people call you crazy for this, trying to get one focused on doing right over wrong, as if our old self could ever be perfect?

Look at this verse and ask if you by doing any right or wrong if you could improve on it or not?

Colossians 1:22

But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

Okay there it is; God says that through his Son’s death at the cross, he has made you Holy, why?

Can Father see sin? Did Christ yell from the cross and state why has thou forsaken me? Was not Father turning his back on sin at that moment, while Christ was taking on the sin of the world?

John 1:29 New International Version (NIV)

John Testifies About Jesus

9 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

So here it is, did God really do this for us all that believe or not?

It is left for us to choose belief or unbelief in such a merciful God. So choose please as to whether you believe God to do this for you personally or not, thanks

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:34

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

2 Corinthians 5:14

For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.

Homwardbound, thanks you for seeing truth here today!

You are by God Accepted

Ephesians 1:6

to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Baptism from God to you, via the cross of Christ

And there is no specific mention as to what type of Baptism when he said go forth and Baptize, it is not said which type, water or Spirit

I think and believe Spirit for John truly only Baptized with water for repentance, and was actually looking for Jesus to Baptize and even said that He (John) needed Baptized from Jesus. John also said the he (water) Baptism must decrease and Spiritual Baptism from Christ must increase. And in Eph. it states there is only one baptism. So which is it water or Spirit?

Ephesians 4:5

One Lord, one faith, one baptism;

Acts 1:5

For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

John 3:30

He must increase, but I must decrease.

Matthew 3:11

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Luke 3:16

John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Water Baptism is of the flesh wanting to serve God, and Holy Ghost Baptism is of God and from God through the cross

John 3:5

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

John 3:6

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Okay there is much confusion over water Baptism and Spirit. Which one saves water or Spirit?

Now since John only Baptized with water and Jesus came to Baptize with Spirit, when did Spirit Baptism then take place or has it?

John 3:5-6 Living Bible (TLB)

5 Jesus replied, “What I am telling you so earnestly is this: Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.  6 Men can only reproduce human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven;

John 3:5-6 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Okay, John said that he Baptized with water unto repentance, right? So would that be born of water baptized for repentance, wanting to serve God?

Waiting for God to do the Baptizing of the Holy Spirit?

Must there be a feeling as to when one is baptized? A speaking of tongues, cloven hoofs resting on one’s shoulder as was in the day of Pentecost, or is that over?

Again born of flesh, born of feelings yes? And is this what flesh goes by, feelings right? Is not that how flesh makes its decisions tr? Do feelings know what truth is? Aren’t feelings a result of thought? Do feelings change when thought or thoughts change? Whenever you get scared, in fear, what is that a result of? Go watch any movie that you really like. Do you get involved in it? When you see others doing others wrong, do you get angry? What is that anger from? Is it from the thought or thoughts that have just been inserted into your mind, and did not your emotions do the reacting accordingly to what was going on in your mind at that time?

Is that or any movie real at the time you are watching it, even if it is a true story, is it real at the time you are watching it?

So does our emotion(s), predictably respond to whatever is going on in our movie in our mind(s) or not. Whether it is reality or not?

So is it then true as a man thinks so is he?

Okay then, what controls feelings, thoughts or emotions?

So then let us renew our minds, thoughts and our feelings will be in response to our new thoughts, yes?

Romans 12:2

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways will really satisfy you.

The above is for you to start to see things from God’s perspective, his view, how God is seeing things through his Son Christ unto you.

Colossians 1:22

in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

Are we listening to what the Spirit of God is telling you, what God through Son has (past tense) done for you?

Do you believe God, are you now going to believe God, Thank God and praise God for what God has done for you through the Son’s death?

Can what is done be changed? Does man have his own interpretations and does not man work hard at convincing others as to what they believe in getting others to work hard at their salvation after belief?

When in fact, we are already through belief if we belief God made us holy through Christ’s sacrifice?

Colossians 1:22 says it, so is this true or not, are we in God’s sight through Christ made holy? Well if you believe this then it is true.

Now if you, I or anyone else goes out and tries to be Holy, as good as possible, can we be, by our trying to be?

I personally have never succeeded in trying to be holy, have you or you or you?

So we can be self-righteous though yes, and think we are better than others or above others, and we are as we think we are, are we not?

So what we think then that controls our feelings, could be in error yes?

So now how do you want to think, from God’s point of view where you are by God through Christ made Holy?

Or continue to walk in strife, stress and worry?

So now maybe go to the Bible and in your free time use that time to read it to know who God is? Ask god to reveal himself to you and why he has,(past tense) through his Son, Jesus Christ made you Holy?

self-improvement programs

How are we doing? Some well, better than others and others not so well. Some get very angry at not being able to improve on the areas they desire to improve on, and can’t. Frustrated, angry to what point? And when we do improve we are at least relaxed and a little proud in the accomplishment are we not? Then when we fail again, we are to pick ourselves back up by our boot straps, so to speak and move onward, right? Forgetting about the past, and moving onto the future and simply do better the next time.

Is this what most of us have been taught here in this life and that as long as we behave we will be rewarded?

How many are frustrated over trying and trying to behave and still get troubles, thinking why is it I am getting this trouble, I have been good, haven’t I? good enough yes? Is God the one doing this punishing us because we are not perfect and mess up?

Or is it just the way it is here on this earth, that the rain rains on us all, whether good enough or bad enough, hmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wondering?

So is it about good enough or bad enough with God, we must improve or else? It sure is that in this world is it not? So many self-help, God–help, people help- improvement programs, many, and is it good or bad for us to seek self-improvement programs?

That would depend right? Depend on what? Your purpose, as to what you want out of life here on earth, and whether or not you might think about this, is there an after-life.

If we are here just to live as best we can, being good and not bad, and after death there is no after life, then what are we doing here, when 100% die and this can’t be improved can it?

Does there not have to be more or what a waste, I do and gain and gain and gain, just to leave whatever I gained physically and materialistically. Futile yes or no? We all spend a tremendous amount of energy on things here on this earth and gain what, when we die and are buried?

Think on these verses below, eat them up over and over again, and see if all things are meaningless without the Love of God the creator, revealed to us through the Son Christ our total forgiveness for all we do and have done good or bad

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 New International Version (NIV)

13 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

What type of love is this talking about? Read below, this is the type of love, that God through the Spirit of God spreads abroad through our new beings God gave us through the Son Christ, who did It all for you, if we believe God that is:

1 Corinthians 13:4-13 New International Version (NIV)

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Now no flesh and blood can perform this type of love can it?

So tell me, how are we to do this type of love then, since we are born of flesh and blood, since no flesh and blood can do this type of love?

Would it have to be by God’s Spirit living in us and through us, in place of our self-flesh?

So is God a self-improvement program or is God our new life that we live by God’s lead and be free to love as God does?

You make the choice, we are all free in this, here and now to turn to God and learn from God, by sifting all to God that we hear, see, do and say, then we will learn from all that goes on here in this earth, whether good or bad, yes? It starts with God just love you, no matter who you are, what you have done or what you might do. Receive this love, first and then see how you react.

from people to people, at

The Unveiling

by Bob
The New Testament writers were tapped by God to tell the story of Jesus Christ. It is a good news story from start to finish. At the birth of Jesus Christ, the angelic message was this: "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."
The culmination of this good news story is the book of Revelation.  Its message is one of hope and victory. Concerning Revelation, John said this, “blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near" (Revelation 1:3).
As you read Revelation, let these four principles guide you through.
  1. Revelation is about Jesus (Revelation 1:1). It is God’s final revelation about His Son. The Greek word for Revelation is apokalupsis. It is where we get our word apocalypse. It means an uncovering or unveiling. In Revelation, God lifts the curtain to reveal Jesus Christ in His glory and majesty.
  2. Revelation is properly understood when read through the lens of the Gospel. Paul spelled out the Gospel very clearly in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,…” The Gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In Revelation, you will see the good news carried out to its full extent.
  3. Revelation rests on the promises of the New Covenant. Hebrews 8:10-12 spells them out.
    • Power: I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.
    • Assurance: I will be their God, and they will be my people.
    • Relationship: No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, "Know the Lord," because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
    • Forgiveness: For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
  4. Revelation promises a blessing to those who hear and take to heart what is written in it. Read expecting that blessing.

Shame on shame

Hey put shame to shame, through the victory of Christ!!!!!!!!

This world through troubles from others and of what just happens, tries to Shame us, and keep us down and out, does it not?

It is here where choices are made.  It would be easy and justifiable to some to become bitter and allow the shame of the any situation to consume their heart.  However, this was not the case for Jephthah, found in Judges Chapter 11.  Who was noted in Hebrews as a man of faith who did not let bitterness take root.  Instead he grew stronger, deeper and became a man of influence in his circle. Apparently, he developed a reputation as a warrior. For when the threat of an invasion of the Ammonites loomed over Israel, who did they call? The man of character, strength and valor, Jephthah, he went on to lead Israel for 6 years until his death. Today we are to call on God the Father of Christ, for God has come to live in us and guide us with Strength, (GOD’s), Character (GOD’s), and Valor (GOD’s), through the finished works of Son at the cross. Where God makes you holy, first by the death of his Son, whom was and is perfect, then by the resurrected life of Christ, he is alive to come and live in us through the Spirit of God, that is what the good news is, yes?

Man attempted to bring shame on Christ’s life in attempt to strip him of who he was and is, but grace brought him into the place appointed by God, King of the Jews, the Prince of peace, our Savior for all that come to belief into God through Son. Shame is a robber. It is after your position and future of what God has appointed you to be. Being in Christ, who is victorious, makes you victorious as well, in sickness and health. This evil can be ruthless and is a core tactic of the enemy.  This public enemy number one was battled all the way to the cross where victory was finally found.  Hebrews 12:2 – For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross despising the shame. Jesus despised it, setting his face like a rock knowing he will not be put under its power. Nor would He allow it to determine who He really was, the Son of God. We too have this position and victory, Romans 10:11 – Whoever believes in Him will not be put to (or brought under the power of) shame.
