Romans 7:8

But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

Romans 7:11

For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

Romans 7:13

Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

Romans 8:8

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Psalm 73:26

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

John 1:13

which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Romans 7:25

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 8:3

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Romans 8:8

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

For through the cross do we see the above verse that says all sin is condemned to the flesh? And that flesh period cannot please God?

So why are we trying so hard to obey in the flesh? I mean every time I tried to obey, I found me deep in sin anyone else?

I mean I was caught up in trying to stop sin in my own flesh, not seeing that by thinking about sin I was creating it all the more:

Galatians 6:8 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:4

that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:5

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:9

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Romans 8:13

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

So how do I want to live here and now by the flesh or by the Spirit of God?

You all decide, I put scripture here for all to see and make their free choice as well

Love to all God’s way not my human self-way as was before discovering the truth of flesh is at war with God’s Spirit and is why Christ came to redeem us in the Spirit by giving us new life in the Spirit of God is we choose to receive this from God. A gift to all to receive if one believes.

carry a tune not a grudge

How many of us can think of something or things we do not like? How many of us face things we do not like, every day, once a week, a month or never?

And when we do get angered are we always aware of why we are angered? But just are angered?

Could there be an underlying reason why? I mean have you ever been driving and came up to a stop, and for some reason or another got disturbed, a little angered?

Could there possibly something in the surrounding area that your mind triggered onto of something that you did not like in your past?

So do we just dismiss it or be more aware of our surrounding area than before? I mean is there an opportunity here to become aware and not for fear, but awareness to stop any and all anomalies that come our way to beset us?

Hebrews 12:1

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

So anytime we get a little flustered we can lay aside the anger that tries to take control and beset us into arguments with one another, and see it for what it is, a derailed, knocking one or all off track into the cesspool of sin., where grudges take form and stick with us to beset us in future endeavors.

So let us carry the tune, over any and all grudges, what is the Tune?

Tune, God does just love you, it is not he loves me, he loves me not. When in the word where does it ever say God does not love you personally?

God does not like anyone to do anyone harm that is for sure and is shown in the day of Noah.

Genesis 6:5

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Genesis 6:6

And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Genesis 6:7

And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Genesis 6:8

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Now you see what God is actually mad at? It is me, you and or anyone else that defiles another’s free will. Look back at Genesis 6:5

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Why did God find grace in the sight of Noah? Read it the whole story.

Noah carried a tune not a grudge against anyone. Did not plan evil against anyone even if they had ever done him wrong, get it?

Praying so?

P.S. might be the same today, since God never changes, maybe, seek this truth from God the creator of all, known as Father of Christ our redeemer

we are reconciled, forgiven

2 Corinthians 5:18-6:2 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  19 to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

6 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.  2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Colossians 1 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,  2 to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,  4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,  5 for the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;  6 which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:  7 as ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;  8 who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;  10 that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;  11 strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;  12 giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  13 who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  14 in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  16 for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  17 and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;  20 and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled  22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:  23 if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;  24 who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:  25 whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;  26 even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:  27 to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  28 whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:  29 whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Colossians 2 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

2 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;  2 that their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;  3 in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.  4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.  5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:  7 rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:  11 in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:  12 buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.  13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;  14 blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;  15 and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:  17 which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.  18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,  19 and not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.  20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,  21 (touch not; taste not; handle not;  22 which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?  23 which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Deception, what more need said

Deception, right or wrong is still Deception

So does it matter, which way one or a group, slice, dice and or cubes deception?

Look at Genesis Chapter 34, read it about the deception played on that group of men, and why?

Was it righteous, at all? Yet “it is what it is” right or wrong, justified or not, and before God put down any Laws to the Israelites as well, about Murder, revenge, being Justified, Sanctified or not right?

Does this type of behavior, thoughts, anger of, from this or that, is it still going on to this very day? People fighting other people and their way of living?

One says this is right for them, while another says this is right for them, and we are left to make the decision, which one is right or wrong, even when both could be wrong? Then we decide to what is right, and go with what we see as right and what do we have?

Divisions, divisions, divisions, and to not argue we keep quiet, because we do not want to argue, to just get along right? So we lie to each other to make each other feel good, and or one becomes radical in their religion and end up to steal, kill, and destroy all in the name of God  according to their religion and the others they might recognize? I mean I am right, right? NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And nor are you, yet we both in our own minds can and are Justified in what we do, or not do right, using whatever means to be right, usually the Bible with our interpretation of, using God as the Catalyst?

So we have passive, and get stepped on or we have radical and just take what we want, justified in what we did, familiar to anyone reading here?

And Love is to conquer all yes or no?

John 17:23

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

2 Corinthians 13:11

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

1 John 2:5

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

1 John 4:12

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1 John 4:17

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

 1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Ephesians 3:19

and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

1 John 3:14

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

what am "I" busy with

Jesus is the mystery of the whole Gospel (Col 1:25)

We do because he has done it before us, we trust only as we go, because in Christ it is finished (John 19:30)

It is by the new life, not by the dead flesh life that is completed in Christ, the Gospel in order to bring us, those that believe new life here and now in the Spirit, by the resurrected Christ.

So what is it that I am so busy with, that I can’t seem to pay attention to those around me in the present, not past or future, present?

Am I too busy with the past and or concerned for the future and planning ahead, that I do not notice my Child running in from school, all excited over a decent report card, trying to get my attention, and I ignore him (not meaning to) because I am too busy with?

You know, we can always stop and start again on what we are concerned over. But can we always rebuild the relationships we destroy? Many times do we even know, we are or have destroyed relationships over being too busy, or we reacted to others needs at the time in a bad way.

You just leaned the house, and here comes the children traipsing in, you try to stop them to not mess up your newly waxed floor, but it is too late, and you respond with yelling. Tell me have you been yelled at? Did you ever like it? So why do we do these things, wanting to be appreciated, noticed, accepted, and yet we do not do them ourselves, accept, appreciate and notice, unless we first feel these things ourselves?

Is that selfishness on our part, we do to get, and when we do not get what we expect we get angered? Are we not taught things like keep trying, not yet complete, need more? And as long as I have needs, I have frustrations that go along with those needs?

How can “I” live above my circumstances, and not get angered over anything, is this possible?

Matthew 19:26

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Luke 18:27

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

So what man finds he can’t do, he can trust God to do through him. So the anger issue, is completely attainable through trust in God to teach you how to not get angered while in the midst of it right?

Ephesians 4:26

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Have you ever tried this, I know I have and all I got was worse at it, angered deeper and deeper, I knew I was wanting to do right and yet just could not attain it, all to more anger over trying harder and harder. Then I would achieve or so it seemed and I would hear a thought that said, hey Howard have you not noticed, you have not gotten angered in a while, cool hah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And what came out of me, pride, boasting, an attitude of holier than thou, and did not even see this in the way, anyone else here concur? Alienating others being a special look at me, doing what I am doing kind of person.

I think Paul brought this trick up from the enemy, our own flesh self-desires to be noticed.

2 Corinthians 12:5-9

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.  6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.  7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.  8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.  9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Why is it we all are trying so hard in frustration, and being upset over what we can’t do, in place of accepting this “it is what it is” whatever that may be at the moment.

Okay and then we pick ourselves right back up by the boot straps, and try, try, try again, and that is good to do, but over and over again, to being proud when and if we accomplish?

I am not talking just give up and not try to see through to the other side; I am talking about how to live above all circumstances good or bad here on earth. How to cut out the middle man, the emotion from taking over and us behind closed doors being frustrated so bad we drink or take medication to escape the tragedies before us, that we hide all day long as if we are together when most of us are not, behind closed doors anyway.

There is a door to new life in the Spirit of God, and that door is at the death of Christ in the flesh.

Have you ever considered being dead to self with Christ in the flesh? And thus alive to Father through Christ in the resurrected Christ in the Spirit of Christ?

Romans 6:1-11

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?  3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:  6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.  7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.  8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:  9 knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.  10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.  11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Praying we are hearing with our spiritual ears from God to be able to be content in everything we are in and leave behind everything that is not beneficial to us each individually, such as drugs, drinking, anger that is not beneficial, and do not soak these things up as sponges to bacteria that is not healthy

Praying for me to see and all others reading here, and lets help each other to benefit each other for the long run over the short run

In God’s unfathomable love to the flesh to seeing it in the Spirit, and knowing we will make it, just do justly, love the Mercy and walk humbly

Love Homwardbound
